Park Hyatt Busan Review: OMG, My Dream Stay in Haeundae!

Planning a fancy trip to Busan? If views are your thing, Park Hyatt Busan absolutely wins. This glass building in Haeundae’s Marina City? It’s practically art, framed by insane views of Gwangan Bridge and the sparkling sea. I went there recently, craving a chill escape, and from the 30th-floor check-in, I knew this place was the real deal. So, here’s my honest-to-goodness review!

First Impressions & The Sky-High Welcome

Park Hyatt Busan is in modern Marina City, close to Haeundae Beach but feeling totally private. Plus, the night view of the yacht marina and Gwangan Bridge lighting up is just chef’s kiss. My heart literally skipped a beat watching those lights twinkle.

Upon arrival, a friendly concierge led me straight up to the 30th-floor lobby. This is where the magic started, no joke. Indeed, the elevator doors opened to high ceilings, a super chic vibe, and panoramic sea and bridge views that took my breath away. Who knew checking in could be this pretty?! It felt like floating above the whole city.

Furthermore, the check-in itself was smooth, staff were lovely and spoke perfect English. No welcome drinks, but their gentle attention made up for it big time. Then, a fun twist: you take another elevator down to your room, as all guest rooms are below the lobby. Ultimately, this unique detail adds to Park Hyatt Busan’s serene, “floating above the city” charm.

Park Hyatt Busan Room Review: Park Deluxe Ocean View—My Own Little Paradise!

Room with round table and ocean-facing windows overlooking Gwangan Bridge

Now for the main event: my Park Deluxe Ocean View Room at Park Hyatt Busan. Walking in, I instantly understood their focus on tranquility. It’s genuinely a peaceful escape.

The main deets: The View. A direct, unobstructed sea view with Gwangan Bridge framed perfectly. In fact, I spent ages just watching the bridge lights pop on at sunset—pure bliss. The Bed. The king-sized bed was unbelievably comfy; getting out of it was, frankly, a monumental struggle.

This room truly “gets” minimalist luxury. That view hits you first. Moreover, massive floor-to-ceiling panes transform the whole space into a live seascape. The ocean horizon stretches endlessly, and Gwangan Bridge adds this cool, dynamic element. You truly feel like you’re hovering above the water.

The design works perfectly with the view. Muted wood tones and soft lighting create a calming atmosphere. Consequently, I loved just sitting, watching the ocean, or putting on music from the JBL Bluetooth speaker. A capsule coffee machine and a well-organized minibar added practical touches without clutter.

The bathroom? Total win. A deep soaking tub perfectly positioned to face that amazing view—yes, you can literally watch the waves while you bathe! How cool is that?! Additionally, a separate, spacious rain shower was super nice too. Of course, Aesop toiletries are always a welcome, fancy detail, plus a separate toilet room for privacy. Whether I wanted to soak with the ocean or close the blinds, the choice was mine. All in all, it genuinely felt like my own private oasis.

Breakfast at Dining Room (32nd Floor): Waking Up to That View!

Breakfast at Park Hyatt Busan is served on the 32nd floor at the Dining Room. Honestly, the setting alone is reason enough to get out of bed. Specifically, the whole dining space is wrapped in glass, ensuring every table has an amazing view—either of the sparkling marina or the wide-open sea.

Here’s the breakfast lowdown: it’s a hybrid buffet + à la carte system. The buffet has fresh salads, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, juices, and seriously good baked goods. Meanwhile, from the à la carte menu, you can order things like perfectly cooked egg dishes, fluffy pancakes, and comforting Korean porridge (juk).

I highly recommend the egg dishes. My Eggs Benedict was creamy, perfectly poached, and beautifully plated. However, while Korean options were limited, the Western spread suited international travelers well. Ultimately, the quality of ingredients was noticeably high; nothing felt mass-produced.

Park Hyatt Busan Amenities: Pool, Fitness, & Other Cool Stuff!

The Pool with a View

The indoor pool on the 4th floor might just be Busan’s most Instagrammable pool. Its sleek design with dark stone and subtle lighting felt both calming and chic. Furthermore, the far end overlooks Gwangan Bridge—swimming here at sunset or after dark is a surreal experience. The pool was generally quiet, mostly adults, and uncrowded outside peak times, perfect for chilling. Just a heads up, they usually have an hour-long break mid-morning!

Fitness Center

Also on the 4th floor, the gym is compact but really well-equipped. Cardio machines face big windows, offering sea glimpses while you work out. Moreover, there’s a good mix of free weights and machines, and the space was super clean. Big plus: complimentary shoe rentals are available if you ask!

Bakery & Other Conveniences

The hotel’s 1st-floor Patisserie is small but elegant, selling high-end pastries, cookies, and other goodies. Pro tip: If you swing by late afternoon, some items are actually discounted! Additionally, there’s also a Florist on the ground floor—a sweet little touch. The Spa is by reservation only, offering facials, body, and signature treatments. Prices are on the higher side, but the ambiance is super serene.
